The KYN28-12/24 metal-clad withdrawable AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereafter referred to as “switchgear”) is designed for indoor three-phase 50/60Hz power systems with a rated voltage of 24kV. It is mainly used in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and high-rise buildings for power reception, distribution, circuit control, protection, and monitoring.
The KYN28-24 switchgear is equipped with comprehensive interlocking functions to prevent maloperation, including:
Preventing movement of the circuit breaker truck under load,
Preventing the circuit breaker from closing when the grounding switch is in the closed position,
Preventing the grounding switch from closing when the circuit is live, and
Preventing access to live compartments.
This switchgear integrates high-performance VS1 or VN2 series vacuum circuit breakers and solid-insulated vacuum switches. The secondary circuit includes advanced and reliable control and protection devices. The main busbar uses heat-shrink insulation or epoxy-coated insulation technology, with optimized electrode design. The cabinet structure is compact, making it a technologically advanced, stable, user-friendly, and safe power distribution solution.

When used under conditions exceeding the normal environmental parameters defined by GB/T11022, the manufacturer and user may negotiate and agree on special operating terms. To prevent condensation, the switchgear is equipped with heaters, which should be activated when the equipment is in standby or even during normal operation if necessary.
