The VGK400-12 switchgear is constructed entirely of environmentally friendly, recyclable materials and uses clean, dry air as the insulation medium—completely free of SF6 gas. Vacuum arc-extinguishing ensures high interrupting capacity with minimal environmental impact. All components are labeled for easy sorting and recycling. A humidity indicator is installed in the air chamber: blue indicates normal, while pink suggests moisture accumulation and the need for service.
